Sylent Souljah started at the age of 13. When he first heard a track from Bone Thugs –n- Harmony. "They really inspired me to pick up a pen and pad after listening to their whole album -Eternal- “That sh*t was and still is fire, trust and believe dat says Sylent. "Then using their songs I blanked their vocals in my head and started to concentrate on their beats and style". He began to write and write. Sylent's first performance was in the streets of Harlem NY, at his Moms Church. He performed with a group called "Soldiers On Da Path". They heard his lyrics and style, and loved it so they threw him on stage with out no practice or any preparation. Every thing went well. He then joined the group as ‘Sylent Souljah’. A Souljah from GOD, on a mission and ready for war. As time went on, Sylent became older and started to get into audio producing and editing music. Ambitious and egger to step into the music industry field. "I Love Music producing, plus writing is a gift sent from the one among high.          Sylent is known for his unique voice and abilities to flow fast or slow, and sooth your ears. "I'm gonna use that tool for success and pray that I get signed one day, no rush to put others on their knees yet. When this wolf is on the loose, Hata’z and Labels beware.                                           Reporter —”What’s this thing about ‘Da Lone Wolf’?” Sylent — “Well basically growing up was a struggle for me nahmean. I only knew my father for about 5 years before he Past away, and I was a kid when I lost em, All I have is small non-fading  memory about him; but let me tell u , those short memories I had was one of the happiest moments I can ever have, ya dig. He was the best father a kid can have, and a big Role model to me. ~~RIP Dad~~; But ah going back to that clarification, to make this short and simple, When you look it up in the dictionary, its self explanatory . A lone wolf doesn't depend on other members of the Pak” (family), “and wonders alone all the time. Since I was 16 I’ve mostly felt like that when it came to family, financial issues, friend’s n foes, I was 90 percent of the time dealing with it at that age by myself. Moved out at 18, struggling hard to make that paper (Cough with a smile). Till this day, I feel alone mentally, which is why I'm Da Lone Wolf”. Reporter — ”OK I can see how that fits. Now I see, and heard that your into wolfs, tell me a little about that, what's the big mystery behind that? “ Sylent —”Ahhhh the answer that everyone seeks with a big question mark on there head (laughs). I dunno, basically to make it short and simple, dogs is played out. I got a passion for wolfs. The way they are, the way their instincts are, I can relate to I guess. They quiet and mysterious at the same time intelligent, and smart when it comes to defense and battle. Which is where my personality fits. That’s me right thurr.“ Reporter — “Interesting, I’m definitely feeling that.” Reporter —”What made you decide your artist name? What is ‘ Sylent Souljah ’ all about?. “ Sylent —”I'm a soul that doesn't really care what a lot of people think.  Simply because everyone has they own opinion, negative or positive. I keep it Sylent and mind my own business when it comes to a lot of minority minded topics. I don't let a lot of nonsense get to me. You will never know what’s on my head when I'm bothered or troubled, so I keep it quiet before I physically, mentally, or verbally engage an attack. Reporter — “Engage an attack, what you mean by that?” Sylent - “engage an attack, basically if I'm in ‘karma revenge mode’, which to me is like if I'm plottin on something to get back at you because of something you did. You will not know about it, your friends won’t know about it, your momma won’t know about it, no one, nahmean….. Reporter - “ouch, I don't ever want to get on your bad side.” Sylent - “Trust me you don't”, (laughs), “That’s when the howling begins.” Sylent (continues) - …. “I’ll silently creep up when you least expect it. If I put it in suspend mode, I’ll sylently let God deal with you, trust and believe dat he will deal with you sooner or later. That’s just one out of many examples my mentality is trained to do.
